Junior Career Highlights:
Shannon Miller spent one year as a junior (1989) Her coach decided she was ready to be a senior in 1990 and she competed as such. In 1989 Shannon won the American Classic Jr. "A" Women's AA title, finished 3rd at the US Olympic Festival that also doubled as the Junior Nationals(winning the uneven bar junior title) and 6th at the Japan International.
